Bill Kartalopoulos is a New York-based comics critic, educator, curator and editor. He teaches courses about comics and graphic novels at Parsons School of Design and in the MFA Visual Narrative program at SVA. From 2012 to 2019 he was the Series Editor for the #1 New York Times best selling Best American Comics series (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). He is currently writing a book about comics, to be published in 2024 by Princeton University Press. Some of this research is the topic of two talks given online.
